Territory Inside Sales Representative – Advertising

The MARC Group is seeking experienced sales professionals for a Territory Inside Sales position. This individual will be responsible for bringing in new advertising and marketing sales revenue. The successful candidate will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects and maintaining customer satisfaction. The Territory Inside Sales Representative must be able to interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders from sales and marketing to executive staff members.

We are looking for an individual to join our BagVertising and Tabltop divisions in our Newmarket, Orillia, and Calgary locations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Identify and close strategic advertising partnerships with leading brand/performance-based advertisers or agencies/intermediaries that help ensure long-term success for the company
  • Develop and grow repeat business from existing advertising customers, partners and agencies
  • Understand client needs, anticipate future goals and help determine ideal solutions
  • Manage expectations at all levels and demonstrate a proactive and consultative approach in addressing client needs
  • Effectively communicate and partner with all internal staff members as a team to meet and exceed advertisers’ needs and beat the competition
  • Advocate for The MARC Group’s ad platform products, rich media solutions and creative services


  • Prospecting and building a pipeline of potential advertisers, while meeting and exceeding annual goals
  • Source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, follow up and emails
  • Close sales and achieve weekly quotas/goals
  • Liaise with colleagues and management to increase and diversify demand
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; and recommending new opportunities

Desired Skills & Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales environment, preferably, inside sales
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Strong track record of hitting and exceeding sales goals
  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Sports minded, competitive, outgoing, and energetic individual
  • Must be fluent in the English language with no limitations
  • Strong phone presence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure independently
  • Ability to multi-task prioritize, and manage time effectively under minimal supervision

  • Base pay starting at $40k plus commission with a sliding commission scale
